The Swiss Personalized Health Network facilitates the exchange of consented clinical data for research, while ensuring compliance with strict technical, legal and ethical requirements – enabling medical innovation that results in better health care for all. Led by the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences and SIB, SPHN strengthens Switzerland’s position in personalized health research.
Discover the solutions, tools and services developed by SPHN – including the BioMedIT Trusted Research Environment – that support:
- hospitals in making data from diverse clinical sources secure and interoperable within the network;
- researchers to carry out complex and multi-site research studies with health data.
The SIB Personal Health Informatics group leads the initiative’s SPHN-Data Coordination Centre (SPHN-DCC) and BioMedIT, in close collaboration with our Swiss-wide bioinformatics community (e.g. on the legal front).
