Post-conference sight-seeing tour

The EPD post-conference excursion includes a breath-taking walking tour through the terraced vineyards of Lavaux during the harvest season, a stunning region listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a visit to the medieval castle 'Château de Chillon'.

The 5 Km walking tour will start in the village of Chexbres, passing through Saint-Saphorin and conclude at the wine village of Chexbres for wine-tasting in a picturesque cellar. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will head over to the Château of Chillon and discover a fascinating medieval fortress located on the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva.

For your comfort, we suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes/sneakers, and bring a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of water and a rain jacket.
